The 2019 Batch C stream I Camp Director, Mrs. Obiageli Okpalifo has warned Prospective Corps Members against defacing their NYSC uniform.
Mrs. Okpalifo sounded this note of warning while addressing PCMs on Thursday at the meditation ground before the commencement of the swearing-in program.
She said, “Report was sent to Osun State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Ayodele Adegoke at the early hour of Thursday from the NYSC Director-General, Brig-Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim warning PCMs against defacing NYSC uniform.
” We are not negotiating it with you because it is our pride and we must do according to instruction”
She noted that the uniform can only be adjusted at the waist to a sizeable one but not to slim fit it or add elastic bond at the tip of the trousers.
She admonished corps member against taking their bath on the slab of soakaway .
She added that, ” Muslim ladies are to put on shoulder length hijab. Nose rings, dangling earrings is not allowed on camp ground.
According to her, “Nursing mothers and pregnant women are to leave the orientation camp ground after the swearing-in program.
All PCMs should tell those who are above 30years of age not to come to camp because they won’t be registered” she ended.
