The Northwest coordinator, National Association of Nigerian Comrade NANC, Buhari Bashir, has approved the appointment of the students’ union president of Usmanu Danfodiyo University sokoto, Comrade Faruq Barade Wamakko as the Sokoto state coordinator.
This was contained in a statement signed by the secretary General, Amb. Suleiman S. And made available on Monday 21st, April 2020.
He said the appointment were to take immediate effect.
According to the statement, “the appointment is followed by series of examination, consultation and the acknowledgement of your vision, struggles, ideology, immense contribution and outstanding performance in reforming the society”.
“The association have therefore found you worthy of appointment into the said office”. It added
The new coordinator, Faruq Barade, is the incumbent Students’ Union president, Usmanu Danfodiyo University sokoto. He has served in many capacity including Sokoto state Students’Association, SOSSA
Reacting to the appointment, Barade appreciate the Northwest coordinator for the opportunity to serve in the association, expresses happiness and called for support from members of the association to discharge his duty accurately.
According to Barade “I’m ready to discharge my duties faithfully and to the best of my ability”. He said
He further added, “I called upon all comrades in UDUS sa well as the state I’m representing for their vehement support, I cannot do it alone and I’m not too wise or capable to take up this responsibility without your support”.
