TRACE Releases Traffic Advisory Ahead Of APC Presidential Campaign Rally In Ogun

Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE has released traffic Advisory Ahead Of APC Presidential Campaign Rally slated to hold on Wednesday, at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

TRACE made this known in a release signed by its Public Relations Officers, Commander Babatunde Akinbiyi, and obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent in Abeokuta this Tuesday has it that there will be traffic rerouting inbound and outbound the stadium axis by 0700hrs with the NNPC fly over bridge condoned off for road users and traffic diverted underpass, while alternative routes and parking spaces will be mapped out and supervised by security and safety officials in the details below…

The statement reads in parys, “There will be traffic diversion at NNPC to the right towards Abiola-Way -Leme – Iyana/Mortuary for vehicles coming inbound Abeokuta from Sagamu/Interchange – Laderin – Okemosan axis”.

“In the same vein, all buses coming from outside Abeokuta through the Sagamu/Interchange for the campaign rally, will also be diverted at the NNPC to the right towards Abiola-Way – Leme Junction and there make a U-turn to the left inbound NNPC back before making a right turn to the stadium through the road/gate opposite Providence Hotel”.

“There will be no access road for vehicles coming from Iyana/Mortuary towards NNPC, except those scheduled for the campaign rally and they will gain access to the stadium through the road/gate opposite Providence Hotel”.

“Nevertheless, TRACE as well as other security and safety agencies will be properly positioned to reduce and avoid gridlock on all routes to and from the stadium, as well as strategically positioned to man all parking spaces around the stadium premises”.

“While pleading with members of the public and road users for their understanding and cooperation for any inconveniences this might cause, they are assured that the strategy put in place would minimize delay, ensure effective integrated traffic management along the routes and prevent any untoward situation”, he added.
