Tinubu, Shettima Mourn as Mele Kyari Loses Daughter

President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima have expressed their condolences to the family of Malam Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, following the death of his daughter, Fatima Kyari, who passed away at the age of 25.

In separate statements released by their spokesmen, Bayo Onanuga and Stanley Nkwocha, the Nigerian leaders prayed for the repose of Fatima’s soul and called on God to grant the Kyari family the strength to endure the loss of their daughter, who passed away in her prime.

President Tinubu, while offering his prayers, urged the family to “stay strong during these trying times,” emphasizing his heartfelt sympathy for the profound loss.

Vice President Shettima led mourners at the funeral prayers held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja, where he joined other sympathizers in paying respects to the deceased.
