Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the Guzape District Lot II road project, a significant infrastructure development aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, President Tinubu emphasized his administration’s commitment to people-focused development, prioritizing essential infrastructure and amenities that benefit the people.
He commended Minister Nyesom Wike for his exceptional leadership and the contractor, Gilmor Engineering Limited, for their work on the project.
The President encouraged a people-focused approach to development, emphasizing conversation and compensation over litigation.
He also reiterated that his commitment to providing infrastructure across the country is not for personal enrichment but to deliver a good quality of life and living environment for all Nigerians.
The Guzape District Lot II project, which covers 620 hectares and includes 129 hectares of village settlements, is part of a larger effort to provide residential, commercial, and recreational facilities in the area.
The Minister of FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike, and the Executive Secretary, FCDA, Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmad, also spoke at the ceremony, highlighting the project’s significance and the administration’s dedication to completing ongoing projects.
