President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Donald Trump following his re-election as the 47th President of the United States.

Tinubu expressed his eagerness to deepen the relationship between Nigeria and the United States, particularly in the face of the complex challenges and opportunities of the modern world.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu noted, “Together, we can foster economic cooperation, promote peace, and address global challenges that affect our citizens.”

He also emphasized that Trump’s victory is a reflection of the trust and confidence the American people have placed in his leadership.

Tinubu further congratulated the people of the United States for their commitment to democracy, stating that the election results demonstrate the strength of democratic processes.
