Supreme Court Upholds Alia’s Election As Benue Governor

The Supreme Court on Monday upheld the election of Hyacinth Alia as the governor of Benue State.

Supreme Court dismissed the appeal by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the Benue governorship election, Titus Uba.

The governorship election petition tribunal and the court of appeal in Abuja had affirmed the election of Hyacinth Alia as governor of Benue state.

Not pleased with the judgments, Uba approached the apex court for redress.
