The Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Mrs. Folashade Jaji has urged retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in the State to support the Sanwo-Olu administration towards the actualisation of the five-point agenda of the regime.
She said that the State government intends to leverage on the experience and expertise of ALARHOSPS, not only as the think-tank of government but also in their capacity as consultants from whom the State Government can draw wisdom.
Jaji, who spoke when a delegation of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries paid her a courtesy visit, stressed that the Sanwo-Olu administration is willing to run an all-inclusive government that is open to ideas from everybody in the State.
She promised the members of ALARHOSPS that the present administration in Lagos State remains committed to addressing some of the challenges facing the association like pensions and welfare matters.
Mrs Jaji, however, charged the distinguished members of the association to come up with position papers to assist the present administration to succeed, while praying for the continued growth of the association and sound health for its members.
The President of ALARHOSPS, Mr. Ajibola Olagbaye commended Governor Sanwo Olu for the appointment of a seasoned technocrat like Mrs. Jaji as the Secretary to the State Government, noting that she played a vital role of birthing the ALARHOSPS during her tenure as Head of Service.
Members of the association commended her sterling work etiquettes and qualities during her tenure as Head of Service and expressed confidence that she will excel as SSG due to her experience in public service.
