So-Safe, Service Chiefs Honour Erstwhile Ogun Police Commissioner, Ajogun

So-Safe Corps, an Ogun State owned security outfit on Friday honoured CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun (Rtd), the erstwhile Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command with an award of appreciation for his selfless people’s policing service he rendered to the good people of the Gateway State while in active service.

An event which was held at the Senior Police Officers’ Mess in Abeokuta was attended by Commanders of all service chiefs in Ogun State.

In his speech Cdr (Dr) Ganzallo described the retired Commissioner of Police as humility personified professional Police Officer who is well-grounded in Peoples Policing.

Commander Ganzallo lauded Ajogun for his giant strides as the police commissioner in the state, recalling that synergy with other security agencies during his tenure was responsible for his good performances.

Ganzallo said, “This is a man that is down to earth. This is a man that will not hide his feelings anytime, anyday, no matter who you are to him, and this is a man that I can actually call an ambassador of people policing”.

“He is being celebrated because he understands the technicality of the police force, and we have something for him to show that he served in Ogun state diligently and we appreciate him”,Ganzallo emphasized”, he stated.

The event also witnessed presentation of plaque courtesy Ogun State Service Chiefs in demonstration of show of love and appreciation to retired CP Ajogun who played a huge role in uniting various Security architectures in the State under his watch.

In his remarks, the former Commissioner and the awardee expressed appreciation to the So-Safe Corps for the honours bestowed on him, noting that it is a further testament that good works facilitates positive results

Dignitaries at the event include; Lanre Bankole(Ogun State Commissioner of Police), Mohammed Bashir (from Department of State Security), Ishaku Kwajafa (National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency), Aina Oluwakayode (Amotekun Corps), Onyema John Anayo (Nigeria Immigration Service), Tijani Atahiru Saliu (Department of Intelligence Agency), Olumide Adebajo (Federal Road Safety Corps) and Comrade Sanni Ogundele (Police Community Relations)
