So-Safe Arrests Notorious Robber Terrorizing Ogun Varsity

An Ogun State Indigenous security Outfit,  So-Safe Corps has arrested a notorious robbery suspect named Sunday Adekanbi who was terrorising the Olabisi Onabanjo University Annex, Ibogun.

Adekanbi was arrested  at Gbogidi Quarters ,Ilaro located in Yewa South local government area of Ogun state.

The Director of Information and Public Relations of the corps Moruf Yusuf in a statement said the suspect who reside at Oja Odan was stopped for questioning by officers and men of the corps on routine patrol along Olorunda ,Oju-irin,Ilaro for suspecting the motorbike he was riding to be a stolen one along the items like rug and shelf he was carrying but only for him to take on his heel and  escaped through the nearest bush.

 

Yusuf added that the same suspected robber allegedly carried out another robbery operation on 17th. April,2020 at Olabisi Onabanjo University Annex,Ibogun and was apprehended at 5:00hrs at Gbogidi Quarters with a motorbike while other items like a functional table refrigerator,plasma Tv set,Home theatre Tape,a shelf ,a big rug which he kept in his room and he confessed to the crime without torture.

The corps spokesperson said that the two motorbikes ,the rest exhibit and the suspect has been transfered to the Nigeria Police Division,Ibogun for further investigation and likely prosecution.
