As part of its Community Mobile Library Services initiative, under which it presents free books to schools, The SixthSense Initiative has presented sets of books to the Students of Egba Comprehensive High School, Asero, Abeokuta.

The presentation was made to both the Senior and Junior Schols at a separate events held at the schools Assembly ground this Friday.

The Promoter of The SixthSense Initiative, Mr. Abiodun Oladimeji Lasile while addressing the students urged them to imbibe the culture of reading, saying if they wants to emerge as a good leader in future, they must be a reader, adding that readers can’t be leaders without necessary grooming.

Hence, we want all to embrace “grooming tomorrow’s leaders through reading culture, today!”

He also encourage the students to imbibe the culture of giving back when they are old, saying as they are receiving today through the good will of others, they must have it in their consciousness that they must also give back to the public.

He said, “We are here today for you to know the meaning of giving. We want you to know the meaning of giving and giving back to the environment where you have gained”.

He regretted that the good old days of mentoring is almost gone but said all hopes are not lost as there are those who are still willing to mentor the young ones, saying when the students are ready, the teacher will appear.

The Principal of the Junior
School, Mrs Yomi Adeneye while presenting the team at the school Assembly informed that the donation of the books was facilitated by the 1996 Set of the School Old Students, saying it is a wake up call for them in future to also imbibe the act of giving when they got to that stage in life.

The Principal of the Senior School, Mrs. Abimbola Bolatito also appreciated the team for the gesture, assuring that the students will make judicious use of the books.

The SixthSense Initiative (tSSi) says “Let us make our children read, again!”
