SIT-AT-HOME: ABIODUN SENDS RELIEF PACKAGES TO OPPOSITION PARTIES IN OGUN

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state has extended his olive branch to members of opposition parties in the state by giving out 70 packs of relief food materials to them.

The relief materials customized “COVID-19 IPAC Relief Materials 2020 courtesy of Prince Dapo Abiodun” was handed over to the state IPAC Chairman, Asiwaju Abdul-Lateef Adedamola.

Distributing the relief package to his members, Asiwaju Adedamola said the food package was for members of opposition parties in the state under the umbrella of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) who are financially unstable.

The IPAC Chairman explained that, although, majority of the party chairmen are capable enough to feed themselves and their families, saying there are many members of the opposition parties who are downtrodden.

Adedamola therefore thanked Governor Abiodun for his kind gesture and humanitarian service to the grassroots inspite of the pressure to curtail the spread against the dreaded disease, Coronavirus.

“We want to thank His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun for this humanitarian gesture. The donation of the food package will assist some of our members who are financially unstable.

“No doubt, many of us who are party chairmen can boast of three square meal a day, but for the benefit of our members in different parties who are downtrodden, we need to take care of their welfare.

“We cannot thank Mr. Governor enough because at IPAC level, we are just planning on how to support our members when we got the relief package from the governor.”

The relief package contains rice, beans, sugar,salt, noodles, groundnut oil, Maggi, sachet tomatoes
