Senator Yayi Hails Osoba at 85, Describes Him as Iconic Leader

Abuja, Nigeria – Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (APC, Ogun West), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has felicitated with former Ogun State Governor and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aremo Olusegun Osoba, on his 85th birthday.

In a statement signed by Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Senator Adeola, he described Osoba as an “iconic leader and father who has paid his dues for the positive development of Nigeria.”

He praised Osoba’s contributions to the country’s socio-political and economic development, particularly in the field of journalism.

Osoba, a renowned journalist and two-term governor of Ogun State, recently presented his book, “My Life in Public Eye,” ahead of his birthday.

Senator Adeola commended Osoba’s investigative reporting and leadership in various media organizations, as well as his roles in Nigeria’s democratic struggles.

He prayed for Osoba’s continued good health and divine wisdom to make more positive contributions to the nation and humanity.
