Ogun West Senator, Solomon Adeola Yayi, has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the passing of the Olu of Ifoyintedo, His Royal Majesty Oba Isaac Olatunji Adesiyan (Atelugirijoye 1). The revered monarch passed away on Sunday, June 16, at the age of 95.
In a condolence message, Senator Adeola praised the late monarch as a visionary leader who made significant contributions to the development of his community during his reign.
He noted that Oba Adesiyan’s wisdom and guidance will be deeply missed not only by his subjects but also by the entire Yewa Traditional Council and Ogun State.
Senator Adeola, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, described the late monarch as a stabilizing influence and authority in Yewa affairs, whose institutional knowledge and experience will be greatly missed.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of Oba Adesiyan’s soul and for the strength and fortitude for his family and close associates to bear the irreparable loss.
Senator Adeola said, “The late Oba Adesiyan was a great leader who contributed immensely to the development of Ifoyintedo and Yewaland. His wise counsel and guidance will be deeply missed,” Senator Adeola said.
“I pray that God grants his family and loved ones the strength to bear this loss, and may his legacy continue to inspire and guide us all.”
