Abuja, Nigeria – Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola-Yayi, representing Ogun West Senatorial District, has urged Nigerians to prioritize peace and dialogue amidst calls for national protests.
In a statement released today, Senator Adeola-Yayi acknowledged the country’s challenges, including economic hardships, security concerns, and social inequalities. However, he emphasized that progress requires time, cooperation, and a stable environment.
The Senator appealed to protest organizers and participants to reconsider their approach, warning that protests can be hijacked by individuals with ulterior motives, leading to unintended consequences.
“Let us pursue dialogue and constructive engagement as the primary means of addressing grievances,”
“This approach not only prevents potential violence and unrest but also fosters an environment where sustainable solutions can be crafted through collective effort and understanding”, Senator Adeola-Yayi said.
He also called for patience and resilience, urging Nigerians to stand together in the spirit of peace and national unity.
