In a statement released today by Gbenga Omotoso, Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, the Lagos State Government is set to address the concerns of its citizens amidst challenging times, highlighting plans for a Greater Lagos across various sectors.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will engage with the public in a Media Chat on Thursday at 11:15 am, tackling questions on food security, the environment, health, physical planning, infrastructure, and more.
The Governor will field questions from frontline journalists representing Channels TV, Arise, TVC, and LTV, with the interaction broadcast live on radio stations, including Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM and Eko FM 89.7.
Mr. Sanwo-Olu will unveil key policies concerning the welfare of all Lagosians during the media chat, affirming the government’s commitment to transparency and responsiveness.
In a pre-chat statement, the governor declared, “We will let our people know what we have done and what we will be doing about their welfare, their lives and livelihoods. We will not leave them to their own devices.”
This engagement is part of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s plan for regular interactions with Lagosians, following the successful Lagos West Town Hall Meeting held on January 25.
