Sagamu LG Organises Send Off Party For Ogun NUJ Chairman

Following a long and meritorious career in Civil Service and quality leadership, Sagamu Local Government had organised a Send-Off Party for the former Director, Information, Education and Sports Department, Mrs Omolola Adeyinka who is also the current Chairman, Caretaker Committee, Nigeria Union of Journalist, Ogun State Chapter.

The ceremony which was spiced up with words of encomiums from the political functionaries in the Local Government, Management and Members of Staff on the topnotch performances of the NUJ Chairman was held in awe and admiration of all at the Local Government Secretariat.

The Head of Local Government Administration, SLG, Otunba Bamiro Wale, a veteran journalist, saluted the service years of Mrs. Adeyinka, acclaimed by all to be exemplary in Pen Profession. He added that, the celebrant has not only had years of outstanding service in the Local Government Administration in Ogun State, but had provided strategic leadership in the affairs of NUJ, Ogun State Chapter.

However, the Chairman, Transition Committee, Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Olugbenga Banjo popularly known as Baruwa, estolled the quality values and virtues of the celebrant and charged other members of staff in the Service to emulate her humility and diligence, professionalism and strategic consultative ability, that he believed, had worked for her through out her service years, while praying for good health and long life as she faces life after retirement.
