Rotary Club of Rock City Donates Bread to Borstal Institute, Empowers Women in Abeokuta

The Rotary Club of Rock City, in collaboration with Maa’bay Bakery, led by the Irresistible President Henry Olasupo Adedokun, donated 500 loaves of bread to the Borstal Institute in Adigbe, Abeokuta.

The visit, which took place on Monday, October 28, 2024, aimed to support the welfare of the institution’s residents through this generous food contribution.

The Rotary Club’s commitment to community impact extended the following day, October 29, 2024, with an empowerment initiative for women in Ibara, Abeokuta.

Led by the club’s president, Rotarian Henry Adedokun, the training equipped participants with skills in soup and air freshener production as part of an economic and community development project.

This training aligns with Rotary’s mission to foster economic growth and self-sufficiency within local communities in Ogun State.

These initiatives underline the Rotary Club of Rock City’s dedication to community support and empowerment, creating opportunities for economic development and contributing to the well-being of Abeokuta’s residents.
