Renowned Professor of Plants, Olusola Kehinde Emerges FUNAAB Deputy VC

A renowned Professor of Plants Breeding and Genetics, Olusola Babatunde Kehinde has been appointed the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development, of the Federal University of Agriculture,Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

He took over from Prof.Clement Olabinjo Adeofun whose successful tenure of office ended last week.

Prior to his appointment, Prof Kehinde had served the University meritoriously at top Management cum leadership level, leaving on his trail enduring legacy of immense contributions to the overall development of the institution.

Prof Kehinde impacted positively during his tenure as former Dean of College of Plant Science and Crop Production(COLPLANT), thereafter he carved a landmark niche of reference till date as Director of Institute for Human Resources Development (INHURD).

His monumental contributions to the development of the University towered and soared higher,following his election into the University Governing Council.

O.B as he’s fondly called especially in academic circles is bringing his embodiment of experience, cutting across the University mandate and core values to bear largely on the institution’s quest for a World-class status under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor,Prof Felix Kolawole Salako FSSSN,FASN.

Prof.Olusola Babatunde Kehinde is happily married to Prof.Iyabode Kehinde who is the University’s Director of Academic Planning
and they are blessed with children.
