Produce Face Masks For Osun Residents – Oyetola Charges Tailors

The Hon Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Dr. Bode Olanipekun on Saturday sensitized the three Associations of Tailors in the State of Osun on the production of Face masks for the use of the residents of the state.

Delivering the message from Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, the Hon Commissioner said that it would be in the interest of both the Tailors and the state, if the Tailors could take up the challenge of production of enough face masks at affordable prices for Osun residents as part of their contribution to the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 in the state. He advised the leadership of the three associations present to sensitize their members to ensure that nobody was left behind.

The Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has declared as compulsory, the use of face mask for anyone going out of his/her house in the state of osun, creating a huge market for producers of face mask.

Reacting to the offer, the leadership of the three Associations thanked His Excellency, Governor Oyetola for his kind gesture. They however appealed for some grant for them to have a smooth takeoff in the view of the fact that the the state knockdown has emptied their pockets.

Each of the Associations were represented by two persons namely, Federation of Nigerian Tailors- Mohammed Kazeem KK, State treasurer and Misbau Adeeyo, Osogbo Chairman; National Union of Tailors, Mr. Daramola Johnson, Ex Officio and Mrs. Titilope Bello, Chairlady; National Society of Nigeria Tailors, Mr. Balogun Taofeek, State Chairman and Prince Adewole Moses, National President.
