President Tinubu to Address Nation Amidst Growing Unrest

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a national broadcast this Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am, the Presidency announced today.

According to a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the broadcast will be aired on all major television and radio stations, as well as other electronic media outlets.

To ensure wide coverage, media outlets are advised to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

The presidential address will be repeated at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day, also on the NTA and FRCN network services.

The Presidency did not disclose the topic of the President’s address, but it is expected to be a significant national issue, particularly in light of the ongoing protests and growing unrest in the country.

Nigerians are advised to tune in to the broadcast for important information from the President.
