President Tinubu Hails Nigerian Workers on May Day

President Bola Tinubu has praised Nigerian workers for their dedication and hard work, describing them as the “lifeblood of the nation”.

In a statement, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, said President Tinubu recognizes the tireless efforts and patriotic zeal of workers across all sectors, from clerical officers to security personnel, teachers, doctors, and all others who keep the country running.

The President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving workers’ welfare, including relief programs, wage awards, and an imminent minimum wage review.

He believes that fair wages and enhanced welfare are essential for workers who deserve a fair reward for their labor.

President Tinubu wishes Nigerian workers a happy May Day and assures them of his dedication to improving their working conditions and providing the necessary tools for success.

He acknowledges the challenges faced by workers and promises to address them through policies and initiatives that prioritize their well-being.

The President also commended the contributions of workers to the country’s economic growth and development, saying that their efforts have been instrumental in driving progress and prosperity.

He urged workers to continue their good work, assuring them that his administration will do everything possible to support and empower them.

As Nigeria celebrates Workers’ Day, President Tinubu calls on all citizens to appreciate the vital role played by workers in building a better future for the country.

He encourages everyone to join hands in recognizing and rewarding the hard work and dedication of Nigerian workers.
