President Tinubu Consoles Ogun Community After Tragic Gas Explosion

President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his deepest sympathies to the victims of the devastating gas explosion in Ita-Oshin, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The explosion, which occurred when a solitary gas truck ruptured, resulted in loss of life and property.

In a statement signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, President Tinubu also commiserated with the Ogun State Government and residents of the state over the tragedy.

He praised Governor Dapo Abiodun for his swift response in containing the situation and restoring calm to the community.

President Tinubu assured the people of Ogun State, particularly the victims and their families, of his administration’s full support during this difficult time. “We will do everything possible to support them and ensure that such incidents are prevented in the future,” he said.

The President’s condolences come as the community grapples with the aftermath of the explosion, which has left many families in distress. The government has pledged to provide support and relief to those affected.
