A popular Broadcaster in Ogun State, Adeyinka Israel Adebite, popularly known as Omo Baba Tisa on Friday bagged a doctorate degree from Real Life Seminary, Biblical and Theological Institute.
Omo Baba Tisa along other eleven graduands were confered with the honorary doctorate degrees at the Special Convocation ceremony 2021 held at the Real Life in Christ Pentecostal Church International, Ifokanbale Community, Labaiwa, Oke -Aregba, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The rector of the institute, Pastor Dr. Wale Olabode while speaking with newsmen noted that God put the initiative in his mind to be able to train the graduands.
He described the initiative as Divine.
The pastor said ”We have the graduands in term of the certificates, diploma, bachelors and masters. We have about thirteen and in term of doctorate degrees we have 12
”It is Divine initiative, it is God that put it in my mind, he revealed to me and spoke to me”
“The graduands have learnt a lot because is all about biblical and leadership training, they have learnt a lot that can help their christian lives in future
“My advice to them according to the motto of the school , “Go Ye Into the world”, that they have to go to the world and propagate the name of God, they should tell the world that the Lord is good.
“They should go Into the world to preach the gospel to the world and also preach the word of God, the impact of their word should change the world”
Meanwhile, Omo Baba Tisa after receiving his certificate noted that the institute has let him to realize what he didn’t know, saying that the school has helped him to gain a lot.
He said “When the school sent invitation to me, I almost turned it down I was like is it the right time for it, but the school said that the efforts and impact have put into the seminary that I should come and receive it that it is an honor i deserve, that I must come and receive it.
“It is a life experience, the program made me to understand that whatever you do, people are watching you, that we should be careful of what we are doing, it is either bad or good the reward is coming.
He described the rector of the institute as a man of integrity, saying that he is not money driven.
”The rector is an humble person, he is not money driven person, he is a man of God. He is transparent, I have known him for almost a decade now, It is a type of person that believes he worked to get money or to lie to say what God has not sent him, since I have met him he has been maintaining the pedigree. He sold his car to push God’s project not ordinary a car but jeep for that matter that some pastors are dying to get.
“The certificate has not changed me, I will continue to do what I believe so much, I believe so much in my self and my calling, I am an educationist to the core, because I have realized that the reason why I have come into this world is to solve people’s problem. This doctorate has empowered me more to do more, I will not relent, I want to die empty, by the time I die people we realize that I have given out what I have in me'” Omo Baba Tisa concluded.
The Other graduands also promised to preach the gospel to everyone in the world.
The name of others graduands were Pastor Prince Adeyemi Adeoye, pastor Samuel Olusola Odunlami, pastor Festus Olaoye, Pastor Ishola John, Pastor Yusuff Olusegun, Pastor Felix Oluwaseun, Pastor William Oluwafemi, pastor Ogundele Adeoye, Fashoto Jonathan, Adewale Bamidele, Awoyunbo Adebimpe.
