Police Uncover Kidnap Victim’s Grave in Ijebu Igbo, Arrest Two Suspects

The Ogun State Police Command has announced that it has discovered the grave of a kidnap victim in Ijebu Igbo and apprehended two suspects in connection with the crime.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, revealed this information on her verified Facebook page today.

According to Odutola, the police team, led by Commissioner of Police CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha psc, conducted a thorough operation in Ijebu Igbo, resulting in the discovery of the victim’s remains and the apprehension of Chukwuma Bartholomew and Igwe Monday.

The police commissioner reiterated the command’s commitment to combating kidnapping and other criminal activities in the state, warning perpetrators that they will be brought to justice.

“CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha psc, Led operations to Ijebu Igbo in Ogun State where deceased Kidnap victim corpses was exhumed from a swallow grave and two suspects Chukwuma Bartholomew and Igwe Monday arrested! This is a strong warning to perpetrators of crimes , YOU CANT HIDE”, she said.

This operation demonstrates the Ogun State Police Command’s resolve to ensure the safety and security of all citizens in the state, and serves as a warning to criminals that they will be pursued and brought to justice.
