The Rivers state police command says it has neutralized 2 baba, the gang leader of cult group Icelander, believed to be the killer of the Divisional Police Officer of Ahoada police state Bako Angbashim.
The command in a statement by his spokesperson Grace irige-koko made available to Galaxy news, said the suspect was killed during a gun battle with his gang members in the forests of Ahoada where he has been hiding.
According to the police, the suspect whose real name is Gift Okpara alias 2 baba, was responsible for the killing of several policemen and community residents .
Items recovered from his camp include different types of rifle including AK 47, local guns, Army camouflage, one human skull and a jack knife among others.
Efforts according to the police is ongoing to recover the body of the suspected DPO killer, as well as some of his gang members.
