PDP Sweeps Delta LG Elections, Wins All 25 Seats

Asaba, Delta State – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged victorious in the Delta State local government elections, winning all 25 seats in a landslide victory.

According to the results announced by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC), the PDP candidates won all the chairmanship and councillorship seats in the 25 local government areas of the state.

The election, which was held on July 14, 2024, saw a high turnout of voters, with the PDP winning with a wide margin in all the local governments.

The Chairman of DSIEC, Mr. Michael Ogbodu, declared the PDP winners of the election, saying the party won all the seats contested.

The PDP’s victory in the Delta State local government elections is seen as a testament to the party’s popularity in the state and a boost to the party’s fortunes in the region.
