Biola was declared wanted in connection with the murder of one of Ibadan’s most wanted thugs, Moshood Oladokun, popularly known as Ekugbemi.
InsideOyo.com gathered that Ekugbemi was machete to death on Saturday at Olomi Olunde area of the state capital during a fracas with members of a rival cult.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, who disclosed this during a radio programme, also revealed that Ebila, the leader of the rival gang involved in the fracas, was currently at large. He noted that the police were currently on his trail because investigation had commenced on the issue and he will be brought to book.
The PPRO also disclosed that the Police were already working with other law enforcement agencies in the state to ensure there was no reprisal attacks that can disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the state from any of the groups.
He added that two arrests have been made by the police force as regards the fracas. Fadeyi said, “One Babatunde Oladapo who had something to tell the police, to help them in the investigation and one other person who was trying to cause civil disturbance at the born photo/ Idi-Arere axis was also arrested.”
