…says no mortal can perverse Allah’s judgment
A renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheik Buhari Ajikobi, popularly known as “Buhari Omo Musa”, on Monday encouraged the residents of Osun to be rest assured in the return of the immediate past Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, to govern the State for a second term.
The frontline islamic scholar averred that the monumental achievements recorded within four years of Oyetola’s administration are enough to grant him victory at the apex court.
He said the judgement of Almighty Allah on the return of Oyetola to serve Osun people for another four years of second term can never be subverted by any mortal, hence, the need for the people of the state to keep their hope in Him.
The revered cleric made the statement while delivering his lecture at the special Ramadan Lecture and Special Prayer Session organised by the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC), in the State, held at the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, Osogbo.
The lecture and special prayer session were put together to offer fervent prayers for the upkeep of the party and its members in the state and beyond, particularly Oyetola and the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sheikh Ajikobi said his prayer for the return of Oyetola was informed by his sterling performance while he was in the office.
He prayed God to grant Oyetola victory and all his heart desires to serve the State for another four years for the growth and development of the state.
According to the cleric, the giant strides of Oyetola’s administration in four years were indeed in fulfilment of his electoral promises made to the good people of the state which would be consolidated when he reclaims his mandate soon.
He said, “When Oyetola was in government, you all knew what he did. He did his best to advance the cause of of the state and meet the desired people’s expectations.
“He did excellently well and he is going to do more when he returns soon. I just want you to put your mind at rest; he is coming back. Insha-Allah, Oyetola will reclaim his mandate soon. All I know is that nobody can perverse God’s judgment.”
Espousing some qualities of a leader, the renowned Islamic scholar said for any leader to be successful, he must be someone who listens and takes to noble advice.
Sheikh Ajikobi added that it behooves on leaders to see themselves as symbols of character worthy of emulation, justice and fairness and must replicate same in all they do in the quest to build worthy followership.
Buhari Omo Musa, who decried the incessant social vices that have become the order of the day, admonished Muslim Ummah to be their brothers’ and sisters’ keepers, and abstain from all acts capable of making them to lose Aljana fridaus (paradise) in the end.
The special Ramadan Lecture and Prayer Session was attended by the members of the party’s State Working Committee, loyalists, religious leaders and members of the sociopolitical groups among others.
