Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun, on Sunday, condoled with the family of one of his aides, Hon. Adesola Ajetumobi, over the death of his father, Alhaji Badiru Ajadi Abimibade.
Hon. Adesola Ajetunmobi is a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor.
The late Alhaji Abimibade died on Sunday evening.
The governor, who has personally condoled with Hon. Ajetumobi over the loss, described the death of his late father as a great loss to the State, the entire family and the people of Iragbiji.
Oyetola, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, noted that the late Alhaji Abimibade was a devout Muslim who devoted his life to showing his children the path to success.
He further said, “Although the late Alhaji Abimibade is an old man, the death of a beloved one is usually devastating no matter how old the person may be.
“Let’s however be consoled by the fact that he lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.
“The good Lord will comfort you and your other siblings. His death is no doubt a heavy loss to the family and the entire Iragbiji community.
“My deep condolences go to the entire family as well as the Iragbiji community. I pray God grant him eternal rest and I pray to God to give you, your siblings and the entire Iragbiji community the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” Oyetola added.
