Owo Attack: Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Commiserates With Gov. Akeredolu, Describes Attack As Crime Against Humanity

The President and Founder of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation, Alhaji (Asiwaju) Dapo Wahab, has commiserated with the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Ondo State Government, following the attack and killing of worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owa – luwa, Owo, Ondo State by unknown gunmen on Sunday.

Asiwaju Dapo Wahab, who described the gruesome killings as despicable called on the security agencies to ensure the perpetrators of the heinous crime are apprehended and prosecuted.

Asiwaju Dapo Wahab made this known on Monday in a condolence message issued by his Director of Media and Publicity, Adejola Adeyemi Crown, condemned the callous attack, described the Killing of scores of worshippers as inhuman.

Asiwaju also commiserated with the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin, Ogunsoye III, the entire Owo Kingdom, good people of Owo, affected families, the Priest and parishioner of St. Francis Catholic Church, expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in the despicable act against humanity.

He said, “I condole with the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Ondo State Government, Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin, Ogunsoye III, entire Owo Kingdom, good people of Owo, affected families, the Priest and parishioner of St. Francis Catholic Church, Owa – luwa, Owo, Ondo State following the gruesome killing of worshippers by unknown gunmen”.

“The gruesome killings of scores of worshippers is despicable and I call on the security agencies to ensure the perpetrators of the heinous crime are apprehended and prosecuted”.

“I pray for solemn rest for all the lost souls and God should grant the bereaved families the strength to bear the loss from this very unfortunate incidence”.

“I also pray for quick recovery of all those who sustained various degrees of injuries”, he said.
