Owaloko Receives Second Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccine

The Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe the Ajagbusi Ekun VI has been administered with the second dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

This was contained in a statement made available to our correspondent by his media aide, indicated that the monarch received the second jab this afternoon in his palace.

The Monarch also disclosed that he was eligible for the second dose having taken his first jab on early March.

Owaloko called on Iloko-Ijesa people and Osun residents who have received the first dose to also present themselves for the second jab of the vaccination.

He urged residents to abide by the COVID-19 safety protocols always so as to curb the spread of the virus.
