Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa bags Rotary Club Humanitarian Award

The Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe has received a humanitarian award from the Rotary Club of Osogbo Metro in recognition of his meritorious service to humanity.

The Osun State monarch was nominated as an awardee following his exemplary role in community service, human development and empowerment within his immediate community and the society at large.

The epoch making event which was held at Julius Event Centre Hall, Technical School Area, Osogbo was attended by traditional rulers, captain of industries, politicians, philanthropists and a host of others.

The ceremony which was organized as part of Investition ceremony of Rotary Club Osogbo Metro 9th President Rotarian Okunola Oluwakemi Grace Ogungbangbe and the launch of the club’s projects.

Presenting the award on behalf of Rotary Club to Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, the Awaraja of Iwaraja Ijesa, Olowu of Kuta’s wife Olori Fatimat Makama among other dignities praised the monarch.

Described Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa as a man of great thought, they commended him greatly for growing the society positively and urged him not to stop facilitating developmental projects to communities.
