OWALOKO-ELECT, PRINCE AKEEM OGUNGBANGBE FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS, SEEKS PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE

The Saloro and Owaloko – Elect, Prince Akeem OGUNGBANGBE of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government area of Osun State  has felicitated with Muslim brothers and sisters on the 2019 celebration of Eid-el-kabir. 

This was disclosed in a statement issued this Sunday morning to newsmen in Osun State. 

Prince Ogungbangbe who felicitated with all Muslim Ummah in Iloko Ijesa, Osun State and Nigeria at large reiterated the need to demonstrate peace and unity to the progress of their fatherland. 

The Oba – Elect who described religion as a means of connecting with God and viable tool for achieving peace in any society, urged Muslims to use the occasion of the festival to pray for the continued peace, progress and development of the country.

He appealed to Nigerians to be conscious of the effects and influences of their actions, especially as they affected the nation’s interest.

According to him, “I wish all the Muslim Brothers and Sisters in Iloko Ijesa, Osun State and Nigeria a blessed Eid-el-kabir, may Allah shower his blessing and mercy upon you and your households.” 

“I enjoin all Muslims to take the solem time to pray for Nigeria, the State of Osun and Oriade State Constituency. I pray that the blessings that come with eid-el-kabir be ours in good health.”

“Barka de Sallah to all Muslims and I pray for the safe return of our people who are currently in the holy land for Hajj pilgrimage.”

He prayed that May Almighty Allah make us witness more of it in life with peace, success, wealth, longlife and prosperity in good health.
