The Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade Local Government area of Osun State, HRM Oba (Dr.) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe Ajagbusi Ekun VI has described the reign of Ooni of Ife kingdom, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; (Ọjájá II) as progressive.
The monarch made this known while speaking with pressmen on the sixth coronation anniversary of the Monarch noted that Ooni’s reign has ushered in peace and development to Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
According to Owaloko, the 6-year reign of His Royal Highness on the throne has ushered in peace, which in turn has helped to foster rapid development in the kingdom.
Oba Akeem stated that Ile-Ife would continue to witness more rapid socio-economic growth and development when all sons and daughters of the land begin to play their roles.
On behalf of himself and his family, Oba Dr. Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, a philanthropist and an educationist, wished Ooni God’s blessings and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the kingdom in the years ahead.
The Monarch said he believes the wisdom, warmth, and friendliness of the monarch also translated into peace and civility in the domain.
He prayed that the almighty God will continue to bless Ooni Kingdom and grant him more years of fruitful reign.
