He described Oba Ogungbangbe as a progressive, whose pedigree speaks volumes and someone who had invested so much of his time in performance, hard work, dedication and diligence, describing his installation as the Owaloko of Iloko as a round peg in a round hole.
Olamiju said: “I heartily felicitate with you, your beloved Olori and the entire family on the ascendancy to the throne of your forefathers.
“As a successful businessman who clearly stands out in the congregation of indigenes of the State who have distinguished themselves in different spheres of life, your rise to this lofty height in the service of humanity is a well-deserved one.”
The Esa-Oke born politician expressed his confidence in the new Owaloko noting that he would continue to use his God-given skills and talents to attract peace, unity and development to Iloko, Osun State and the nation by extension just as he supplicated to God to grant the Owaloko long life in good health, great accomplishments, prosperity, peace and fulfillment.
In his response, the Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, Oba Ogungbangbe thanked the Special Adviser and his team who was led by the Risa of Iloko-Ijesa, High Chief Sola Ogunsanya for their visit.
He said, “I thank you for this visit and appreciate the support you gave the Risa of Iloko-Ijesa, High Chief Sola Ogunsanya who is a leader in your party but a father to us in Iloko.”
“I most sincerely appreciate the various initiative of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in transforming the health care facilities in the state and like oliver twist, we request more support for Iloko-Ijesa Comprehensive Health Centre which will assist our indigenes and communities around us and ultimately promote healthy living.”
“For us in Iloko-Ijesa, we are in total support of Governor Oyetola’s re-election, because he has done what 99.9% of Iloko indigenes want. We don’t have any reason not to accord him with our support.”
“It is our prayer that the Lord will continue to give him the wisdom to lead Osun State to the promised land”, he concluded.
