The State Coordinator, NYSC, Osun State, Adewale Adegoke on Thursday, 25th July, 2019 bade the 2018 Batch B Stream 2 corps members farewell as their one-year mandatory service in the State came to an end.
The passing out ceremony which was low-key across the federation saw the members collecting their certificates at the zonal offices across the State. In an interview with the editorial crew during the inspection of the exercise across the four zones
in the State, Adegoke posited that a total of 1325 corps members successfully passed out of service while a total of 11 absconded and 4 had their service extended. Adegoke, while addressing corps members in Osogbo zone, charged the members to harness the skills gained through SAED and during the service year to better their lives while waiting for their dream jobs.
He further commended their tenacity and selflessness displayed throughout their sojourn through the four cardinal programmes of the scheme.
Conclusively, he committed them into the hands of God by praying for their safe trip back to their respective homes and for their success in future endeavours.
