Osun College of Tech Undergraduate Commits Suicide

A 19-year-old undergraduate of Osun State College of Technology, Ipetu-Ijesa Victor Olonade has committed suicide in his compound in Osun State.

A statement by Osun Police spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola on Sunday confirmed that Olonade hung himself with a telephone cable at Ipetu-Ijesha.

She said: “Around 2:30PM, the youth leader of Isokan community in Ilesha, Agboola Olusola of number 049 reported at the police station that Victor corpse was found in a compound.

“Our men visited the scene and saw the lifeless body hanging with telephone cable. No mark of violence was found on the body. Photograph was taken corpse has been deposited at Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesha. The case is still under investigation.”
