The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Osun State has unequivocally denounced the recent surge in the campaign of calumny spearheaded by the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the incumbent governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

This disturbing trend has cast a shadow on the sanctity of political discourse within the state.

Wole Adedoyin, Chairman of the Osun State chapter of APGA, expressed profound dismay at the tactics employed by the APC, stating that such actions are antithetical to the principles of fair and issue-based politics.

Adedoyin emphasized the need for a discourse centered on policies, achievements, and the betterment of the state rather than resorting to character assassination.

The press statement highlighted the commitment of APGA to promoting a healthy political environment, urging all political actors to focus on constructive engagement and refrain from engaging in smear campaigns.

APGA reiterated its dedication to fostering a political atmosphere where ideas and development take precedence over personal attacks.

APGA Osun emphasized that the citizens of Osun deserve a campaign season marked by transparency, accountability, and respect for the democratic process.

The party called on the APC to uphold the highest standards of political conduct, urging them to redirect their efforts towards addressing the concerns and aspirations of the electorate.

Finally, APGA Osun affirmed its unwavering support for Senator Ademola Adeleke, urging the people of Osun to remain vigilant against divisive tactics that seek to undermine the democratic values the state holds dear.

The party remains committed to promoting a discourse that elevates the political landscape, fostering an atmosphere where citizens can make informed decisions based on merit and vision.
