OSILE, OLUOMO, BIMBO KOLADE, OTHERS CELEBRATE TAIDOB COLLEGE AT 25

Taidob College, Asero Estate Abeokuta has been commended for its 25year track records of strong moral, sound education and discipline.

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo who gave the commendation said the future of the Nigerian child is on hinged solid foundation.

Speaking as Chairman of the school’s Inter house sports fiesta and Silver Jubilee celebration held at the College sports field in Asero Estate Abeokuta, Speaker Oluomo attributed the success story of the school to the foundations laid by the Founder late Professor Abayomi Jiboku.

In their separate speeches, the Principal of the College Mrs. Hope Jiboku and Director, Mr. Obawunmi Jiboku pledged more infrastructural development and reiterated the commitment of the college to sustain the high standard built in the last 25 years.

Meanwhile, federal commissioner Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission Abuja, Hon. Bimbo Kolade who was distinguished guest of honour commended the core values, facilities and structures which make Taidob college to stand out.

The event which was attended by the Osile Oke Ona Egba, Oba (Dr) Adedapo Tejuoso, Olori Tejuosos and other distinguished personalities featured the conferment of Fellow of Taidob College (FTC) on Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, Ogirimadagbo Ilodo Ijebu Mushin, Oba(Engr) Isiaka Ajede, while some parents, staff and students who distinguished themselves over the years were also awarded.

The highpoint of the Silver Jubilee celebration was the presentation of trophies, medals and gifts to competing houses and invited schools, alumni and parents.

The Jiboku House (Red) came first, Adesanya House (Blue) was 2nd while Green (PTA) and Yellow (Majekodunmi) Houses were 3rd and 4th respectively at the end of the March Past, Relay race, high jump and other sporting events.
