The famous saying that, “the youths are the leaders or future of tomorrow”, seems to have turned around our minds towards not preparing for a great tomorrow that we are craving for, rather we believe that good things can come cheaply without absolutely working hard to achieve it.

Sometimes, when I take a look into the present situation we are trending now, I do ask myself whether there is still a better future for the young ones, and if we believe there is, then what are the positive means we are working on to make it feasible?

Please, don’t be misquoted but one needs to be made clear here. Everyone has being guaranteed by God to have a great tomorrow, but how one works towards achieving it will definitely results to what it becomes in the future.

Taking a good look into this present generation of youths and the way things are being done, one doesn’t need to be told how “careless, uncaring, senseless, intimidating, unconscious, deformed, unconcerned, wayward,” they are and not ready for a change (reformation), probably they believe that this “way of life” is the best means to get their assurance of great future, however, having this kind of mentality is a way of deformation within their system of life.

Do we still think that this tomorrow being projected here means thousands of years to come? No, rather it is the present time we are in now and we should know that whatever we also do with it, that will decide or speak what our future becomes, but this is not in the mindset of the youths, and its not even working towards making a way into it, because they are not hoping for such mentality.

Our youths today, has also make the society become another thing for upcoming ones, they are now inculcating ‘devilish’ thoughts inside these ones now, instead of reforming them, rather they are deforming them, just because they themselves are not ready for change. Is it not in various areas of living, that we the youths are now been found wanting? Be it in education, religious, social life, marital life, financial life, political life and many others, these are areas of life that are supposed to be getting reformed day by day, but because of the way of living of our youths today, they are getting bad and worst all the time.

Looking into the kind of life our youths are living now, it should not be a surprise when you see male gender now putting on ear-rings, plaiting his hair; likewise, sagging of trousers is not a new thing anymore, involving in scam and fraudulent activities, armed robbery, and engaging one another in various bad groups that are having no real stand for building a better future, and as for the female gender, some have turned their own body into means of making money, by marketing it, the way and manner some of these gender dress now displays major parts of their body, by putting on wears that tightened their body and will be showing their body.

On a last note, let me throw these posers to our youths to answer; how many of the youths today even engaged themselves in reading of books, newspapers, magazines, how well do the youths attend or participate in forums, seminars, and conferences that will bring a turn-around for them, how well informed are the youths of today, how serious are the youths ready for a better and great country?

Are we really ready for a reformed, develop and better society, and if we are, who are those to make this come to pass, if not the youths. Now, how serious are we ready for this assignment?

We need to know what we are planning towards and this can only become a reality, by knowing how well reformed or deformed we are in our various societies.
