Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday.
The purpose of their visit was to brief the President on the recently concluded governorship election in Ondo State.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his appreciation to the President for his fatherly support and for providing exemplary leadership, which contributed to the conduct of a free, fair, and peaceful election in the state.
The Governor and his Deputy also presented their Certificates of Return to President Tinubu during the visit.
They were accompanied by Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
President Tinubu congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Adelami on their overwhelming victory in the election. He urged them to reciprocate the confidence the people of Ondo State had in them by dedicating themselves to the development of the state.
