Oluwo, while commiserating with the immediate family of the deceased, the people of Oluponna and Iwoland in general, enjoined sympathizers to thank God for a fruitful reign of the late king.
He said the Late Olupo was a monarch of difference whose primary focus was to promote the interest of the town and her people, saying the Oluponna ultra modern palace was his credit.
A statement by Oluwo through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, reads “I commiserate with the immediate family of the demised Olupo, the Oluponna people and Iwoland in general on the death of the Olupo of Oluponna, HRM Oba Emmanuel Onaolapo Oyebanji, Fadare II. His demise was a personal loss to me. He was cool, brilliant and resourceful. I’ve never heard of him selling his subjects land indiscriminately. That is type of credible monarch we crave for”
“The reign of Oba Oyebanji was characterized with growth and development of Oluponna. One of his credits was the building of Oluponna ultra modern palace”
