Abeokuta, Ogun State – In a gesture of kindness and commitment to the well-being of his subjects, the Olowu of Owu, Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola, Oluyalo Otileta VII, has sponsored the enrollment of elderly residents from the Owu communities into the Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme.

The beneficiaries received their insurance cards on Friday, July 12, 2024, during a distribution event held in the community. The event also included a brief orientation to educate the beneficiaries on the usage and benefits of the scheme.

This initiative is part of the Olowu’s efforts to promote community development and improve the health and well-being of his people, particularly the elderly. The Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme provides access to quality healthcare services for the beneficiaries, and the Olowu’s sponsorship has made it possible for the elderly residents to enjoy this benefit.

The scheme is expected to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the beneficiaries, and the community is grateful to the Olowu for his kindness and generosity.
