Ogunsua Of Modakeke, Oba Moses Oyediran Dies At 95

A prominent traditional ruler in Osun State, the Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Moses Oyediran has died at the age of 95.

The late traditional ruler, who hailed from Ajombadi Ruling House of Modakeke, became Oba in 2018.

The Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has mourned and commiserated with the people of Modakeke over the demise of their traditional ruler.

In a statement on behalf of the state government on Friday, signed by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, described Oba Oyediran as a God-fearing royal father who was an embodiment of wisdom and fairness.

Egbemode in her statement recalled the monarch’s role in ensuring that peace was restored to the community when a communal clash broke out last year.
