OGUN STATE GOVT ASSURES OGUNCCIMA OF EFFECTIVE PUBLIC – PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP

ABEOKUTA: The Ogun state government has assured members of Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, (OGUNCCIMA) of effective service delivery and effective public private partnership (PPP) to boost the economy of the state.

The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe said this when members of OGUNCCIMA, led by its First Deputy President, Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye, paid her a courtesy call at her Oke – Mosan office in Abeokuta today.

The First Deputy President had led some members of the business association and international experts on a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner to congratulate her on her recent appointment by the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun, MFR and also to familiarize the association with the new government thereby seeking for effective collaboration between OGUNCCIMA and Ogun State Government.

While briefing the Honourable Commissioner, Alhaji Olaleye also notified her of the need to upscale Dual Vocational Training in Ogun State by making available to the Chamber one of the Model Colleges in Ogun State as facility for the effective running of the DVT programme.

Alhaji Olaleye also requested for the need to provide a beffiting space for the Chamber so as to hold the 10th edition of Gateway Trade fair as the previous location was demolished to pave way for the construction of rail line along the axis.

In her remarks, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe said the Ogun state government is ready to collaborate with OGUNCCIMA in key areas that will benefit both parties and will be eager to support the activities of the association so as to boost the economy of Ogun State.

Oluyomi Olutoye (OGUNCCIMA Treasurer), Sir Jare Oyesola (ABEOCCIMA 1st Deputy President), Mrs. Jumoke Akinlolu – Okoya (YECCIMA 2nd Deputy President), Alhaji Moruf Popoola (Ogun – NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs Coordinator), Mr. Ibrahim Bada (Member), Mr. Olatunde Ayodele (Member), Alhaji Bidemi Mulero (OGUNCCIMA Secretary General), Alhaji Abdulrahman O. Maku (ABEOCCIMA Executive Secretary), Mr. Wakeel Olaniyan (DVT Acting Desk Officer), Mr. Felix Nitz and Mr. Mej Obada (GiZ – SKYE Representatives)
