The Ogun State owned security outfit, Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps also known as So-Safe Corps has deployed the Special Squads, Officers and Men of the Corps across the State with effective from Tuesday, 11th. to Monday, 17th May, 2021. This is to ensure that the Gateway State witnessed a safer and more secured atmosphere before, during and after the Eid-il- Fitri celebration.
According to the press release from the office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander Soji Ganzallo, the deployed gallant special Squad of the Corps are to collaborate with the Community Leaders and sister security agencies most especially the Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force to flush out the unscrupulous elements across various communities who are known for negating peace and causing panic.
The statement further assured the citizens and those visiting the State for Eid that their lives, property safety and security from bandits, kidnappers and armed robbers among others is guaranteed under the eagle eye of the So-Safe Corps.
Travellers are thereafter warned not to embark on any journey on our roads at night and must not do such too early in the morning as this could expose such a road user to ugly security situation.
The citizens are urged to comply with the Government Covid-19 protocols as they celebrate the Eid. The Face mask must be used with strict adherence to the Federal Government imposed 12am- 4am curfew.
CDR Soji then however fecilitates with all Muslim Officers of the Corps and the general Muslims faithfuls across the state and while wished them a hitch – free Eid-il-Fitri celebration.
