Popular Ogun State radio Presenter, Olufemi Babatunde Oyenekan, has commenced his mandatory National Youth Service in NYSC permanent orientation camp, Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State.
This was contained in a Facebook post shared by the popular presenter on Wednesday which has the photographs of himself donning the NYSC regalia and obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent.
The modest presenter who is a member of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria FIBAN, Ogun State Chapter has also anchored a programme titled “Osumare” on Sweet 107.1FM, Abeokuta.
Oyenekan who is currently engaged with Fresh 107.9 Fm Abeokuta on its Popular Yoruba newspaper review programme tagged “Eti oba Nile Eti oba loko” aside other content based programmes that he has anchored on radio in the time past.
The popular radio presenter who studied Mass Communication graduated from University of Science and Applied Management, Usam, Porto Novo, Benin Republic.
He shared pictures from the orientation Camp with the caption, “Tank God… I achieved My aim.. Glory be to God.. It is better late than never.. Oyo State NYSC orientation camp Here I Come”.
While sharing his call – up letter with Tropic Reporters correspondent. The letter which read in parts, “I am happy to inform you that by the provisions of NYSC Act Cap N84 of the laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, arrangements have been completed for you to participate in the National Youth Service Corps Scheme for One Calendar Year and you should report as follows:
