A popular Broadcast journalist, Adeyinka Adegbite, Popularly known as Omo Baba tisa on Tuesday was honored with an award of excellence by the Environmental Health And Ecological Research Group , Ogun State Polytechnic Of Health and Allied Sciences, Ilese Ijebu, Ijebu Ode.
The award tagged ” Communication and Media Excellence” was presented to him by the former Provost of the Polytechnic, Dr Olusegun Ogunyanwo during an Annual International Environmental and Public Health Conference held at Adetumbi Adebanjo hall in the school.
The honour bestowed on him was in recognition of his laudable impacts in achieving a sustainable environment and public health system.
The LOC Chairman, Olaniyi Opasola said that the group recognises his exceptional talent, creativity and contribution to the field of media.
According to him, Ọmọ-Bàbá-Tíṣà’s outstanding achievement in the realm of the media has caught attention of the selection committee in picking him for the award.
He said ” your ability to captivate audiences, addressing environment, the public health issues and push the boundaries of creativity have set you aside as an exceptional media professional, your work reflects your passion, dedication and innovative approach to your craft”.
Ọmọ-Bàbá-Tíṣà in his remarks thanked the group for the honour, saying thay he will continue to make them proud in the field of media
He said he was not expecting the award, saying that when he got the notification letter, he was so surprised.
The broadcast journalist therefore dedicated the award to the Chief Executive Officer of Fresh FM Nigeria, Dr Olayinka Joei Ayefele, saying that the CEO has given him much opportunities which has helped him a lot in his outstanding achievements so far.
