In a significant breakthrough, the Ogun State Police Command has apprehended Sulaimon Adelakun, a notorious land grabber terrorizing communities in the state. Adelakun, known as “Olori Odo,” was arrested on Thursday at Atan-Ota, following reports of his violent activities targeting landowners.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, Adelakun was taken into custody for attacking people on their land, but no life was lost.

However, investigations revealed that Adelakun had previously been arrested twice for similar offenses, only to be released by law enforcement authorities.

Residents of the affected communities have expressed relief and concern, alleging that Adelakun has a history of evading detention.

Community leaders, including Chief Olusegun Odeyemi and Prince Rasheed Olaleye, have urged the government and police to ensure Adelakun faces justice and to protect the community from further harm.

Adelakun’s arrest has been widely welcomed, and residents are hoping that this time, justice will be served, and the notorious land grabber will face the full weight of the law.

The police have assured that Adelakun will be charged accordingly and brought to justice.
